The affordable price point, typically around £10-£12 for a meal, adds to the appeal, making it an excellent value for the caliber of dishes served.
The reviews highlight the menu's standout offerings like the flavorsome burgers, which Quaza found to be among the tastiest he's ever had, bursting with flavor in every bite. Additionally, Miam Doodledip emphasizes that nothing is too much trouble for the staff and commends both the atmosphere and food quality. While some diners, like Harry Ginniff, noted small items such as a charge for mayo, it did little to detract from the overall positive experience.

We have been about 4/5 times now with family and friends and i cant rate this place highly enough. The food is 10/10 taste, as described and better, it’s also been consistent to a high standard every time which i find is a hard one to keep up but they do. The price point is fantastic also i mean the average meal is 10/12 WOW for the high standard of food its crazy. The service is friendly and relaxed and so chill with no rush to leave either. I also love that busy or quiet the food comes very quick!!! One last thing the cocktails are lethal.

Came here for a quick dinner and had very quick service and order the burgers. They came out very quick and was one of the tastiest food i have ever eaten. The burgers were very yummy and saucy with lots of flavour and taste. Furthermore the staff were very friendly and overall we enjoyed our visit. Thank you.

Just to say that my review was for Lemon and Thyme. I've heard that the restaurant has either changed owners, or has a new chef and I've not been since it because Salt'n'Fire. I hope it is still as good as it was. Want to have a really enjoyable meal? Come here! A menu that’s has enough choice, but isn’t overwhelming. A menu where you still have trouble choosing because it all sounds good ... and it turns out that it looks and tastes excellent. Front of house are friendly, amusing and attentive. If you live in the Borders or are just visiting, then pay Lemon and Thyme a visit. In my view this is the best restaurant in the Borders. We were back and I thought I should update the review? Was it as good as I remembered? Oh yes! Ryan looked after us front of house Not sure what to have because you like the look of everything on the menu, or what to pair with your meal? Ryan is there to help and knows his food and drink. The kitchen was producing consistent, high quality food, even though it was a busy night and I think the restaurant may have been full. We'll be back next month :-)
